Soft, Chewy Dutch Licorice Diamonds with a Salted Flavour
Made in Holland, these Dutch Licorice diamonds have a moderately salty flavour and a medium soft texture. Licorice comes from the root of the Glycyrrhiza glabra plant which is native to Europe and Asia.
Licorice root extract is often used to soothe gastrointestinal problems such as food poisoning and stomach ulcers, and to heal heartburn. It has also been taken as an oral supplement to help the body produce healthy mucus and to help the adrenal glands recover from the effects of stress.
